As wedding days go, this really was a great one…and saw a couple of ‘firsts’ for me as an Odo’s Barn Wedding Photographer…
What were the firsts?
First No. 1: This was my first time being an Odo’s Barn wedding photographer…and I had an absolute blast! Straight off the bat; massive thanks to Charlotte and Robert from Odo’s Barn who were amazing from start to finish and an absolute pleasure to work with. Robert even stepped in as Toastmaster after a slight “organisational hiccup”, which was a great effort.
First No. 2: My day started at the wedding venue, tucking into a sausage and bacon sarnie, cooked by the groom, in his camper van kitchen! As I said in their engagement shoot blog (click here to check it out) Rich and I go back a few years, so it was great to spend the morning together and see how excited he was to marry Becky and drive off into the sunset…and their week-long honeymoon with the kids in Cornwall in their awesome camper!
From start to finish, both Becky and Rich were a dream to work with and huge fun to be around. Their day was the perfect reflection of their relationship; laid back and relaxed with a few cheeky touches thrown in…Granny being taken for a spin on the dance floor by Matt (Becky’s brother) being one.
I had a huge amount of fun all day and I’m really proud of the collection we put together. Thanks so much for all the laughs guys, can’t wait to catch up over Gin and memories!
Here are some words from the couple themselves that had me shedding a tear…and my favourites from an epic day…
“From start to finish, you gave us the most amazing service. We were both so nervous and you completely put us at ease. It was amazing having you there all day and the pictures really reflect just how much fun we all had! You gave us better photos and memories than I ever thought we could have and we can’t stop looking at them. We’re both so unbelievably thankful and can’t recommend you enough! Can we do it all again please?”
