As a wedding photographer, there are always weddings sat in your diary that you look forward to for months on end. When Lucy & Alex asked me to be their Suffolk wedding photographer, I knew this was going to be one of those days. I’ve known Lucy for a good few years now, but I’d not seen her since I moved away from Cambridge and relocated to Kent a fair few years ago, so it was amazing to catch up and hear all about their plans.

Suffolk Wedding Photographer

I really do love a good at-home marquee wedding…and Lucy and Alex planned the perfect one. When you have a wedding like this one, there personal touches everywhere, which makes it for me. The cake was made by Lucy’s sister Becky (check out her awesome work here)¬†and the reception was hosted at Lucy’s family home, so it was a really friendly atmosphere that made for some lovely, genuine moments throughout the day.

Big thanks to Lucy & Alex for having Jess and I along for the ride, we had a blast. Thank you also to all your friends and family who made us feel so welcome.

Below are my favourites from one awesome day, and some very kind words from Mr & Mrs Whitelaw.

“Epic service! You are a lovely guy who brings the energy and fun you want from a wedding photographer, we are really pleased with the whole service and would highly recommend you to anyone having a wedding. The engagement shoot, slideshow and photos are all brilliant, and you made us feel so relaxed and your passion for photography shines through. I would like to thank you and Jess again for capturing our wedding perfectly.”
