As a wedding photographer, there are always weddings sat in your diary that you look forward to for months on end. When Lucy & Alex asked me to be their Suffolk wedding photographer, I knew this was going to be one of those days. I’ve known Lucy for a good few years now, but I’d not seen her since I moved away from Cambridge and relocated to Kent a fair few years ago, so it was amazing to catch up and hear all about their plans.

I really do love a good at-home marquee wedding…and Lucy and Alex planned the perfect one. When you have a wedding like this one, there personal touches everywhere, which makes it for me. The cake was made by Lucy’s sister Becky (check out her awesome work here) and the reception was hosted at Lucy’s family home, so it was a really friendly atmosphere that made for some lovely, genuine moments throughout the day.
Big thanks to Lucy & Alex for having Jess and I along for the ride, we had a blast. Thank you also to all your friends and family who made us feel so welcome.
Below are my favourites from one awesome day, and some very kind words from Mr & Mrs Whitelaw.

“Epic service! You are a lovely guy who brings the energy and fun you want from a wedding photographer, we are really pleased with the whole service and would highly recommend you to anyone having a wedding. The engagement shoot, slideshow and photos are all brilliant, and you made us feel so relaxed and your passion for photography shines through. I would like to thank you and Jess again for capturing our wedding perfectly.”
